Senate Bill 167-023A Resolving Concerns Over the Student Travel Contract

Whereas, Recognition of the need for a student travel contract to protect the interests of ASUAF was made with the passage of a Student Travel Contract; Whereas, The contract itself does not state exactly who it is intended for; Whereas, The passage of the Student Travel Contract was conditional on the contract being amendable; and Whereas, The definition of "timely" in the seventh clause of the contract was a point of question for the Executive Committee; now, therefore be it Enacted, That the following be added to the bylaws: 1103. Student Travel Contract 1103.1 All students traveling on ASUAF funds shall be required to sign the Student Travel Contract. 1103.2 The Student Travel Contract shall be amended by resolution of the Senate and approval of General Council. 1103.3 Timely appeals of disciplinary complaints shall be submitted no later than 10 calendar days after the completion of travel, or the end of the fiscal year, whichever is sooner.
