Senate Resolution 165-022A Let's Have Midterms Mid-Term!

Whcreas, Midterm exams and papers are useful for gaugmg one's academic standing in individual classes; Whereas, Having a W on one's transcript looks beuer than having an F; Whereas, There is a finite period of ume during which students may withdraw from classes; and Whereas, It would be quite beneficial to students if midterms exams and papers were graded and returned to students before the last day to withdraw from classes; now , therefore be it Resolved, That ASUAF supports the grading and return of midterms to students before the last day to withdraw from classes: be it futher Resolved, That ASUAF supports the creatton ofa policy mandatmg that midterm exams and papcrs be returned before the last day to wlthdraw from classes; and be It further Resolved, That the Senate Chair, or someone designated in his stead, deliver this resolution to the Faculty Senate to express the desire of ASUAF to have the policy of mid-term midterm deadlines implemented
