Senate Bill 165-038A Footnotes and Bylaws

Whereas, Footnotes 2,4, and 5 make sugge tions that will be more beneficial and certainly more binding as bylaws; and,
Whereas, Footnotes 3, 7, and 8 have either been "abolished" or replaced by existing bylaws; now, therefore be it
Enacted, that the following be added to the Bylaws:
201.5.1 An appointed person serves with full power from the time of the appointment until the Senate's first opportunity to confirm or deny the appointment.
210.4.1 If the Senate Chair resigns during a Senate Meeting, the Senate may immediately elect a replacement.
211.3.2.1 The Chair may delegate record-keeping duties to the Clerk, but remains responsible for their proper execution.
And be it further, Enacted, That Footnotes 3, 7, and 8 be deleted, and be It further Enacted, ThaI all Footnotes be renumbered accordingly.
