Whereas, The Publine offers a valuable service for the students;

Whereas, Tyler, the owner/operator of said Publine, is appealing a request for a liquor license;

Whereas, Tyler has requested the aid of ASUAF student government to give him support in this endeavor; and

Whereas, this license would allow students and community members, 21 years of age, an enjoyable alternative to braving icy roads at night, and act as an additional deterrent to keep students from driving under the influence of alcohol; now therefore be it

Resolved, that ASUAF as the elected representatives of the student voice support Tyler and the Publine, and encourage the city to approve requested liquor license in the interest of students and the community member’s futures.

To show that ASUAF supports the Publine’s request for a liquor license and help encourage representatives to approve the request.
