Whereas, Ambiguity or inefficiency in bylaws can create a problem for ASUAF;
Whereas, 626.6.6.1 is misleading as Club council does not meet biweekly for most of the semester, and a delegate could be charged with not fulfilling his or her duties;
Whereas, 624.1.2 could leave the Council without a Chair for the first or second meeting of the Council; now therefore be it
Enacted, That these bylaws be amended to read:
620.4.1 The term of office of a Club Council delegate shall expire the last day of the
semester in which they were appointed.
625.1.2 The term of office of the Club Council Clerk shall be the remainder of the semester in which he or she was elected.
626.2.2 The term of office of all committee chairs shall be the remainder of the semester
in which they were elected.
626.6.6.1 To present a budget summary to Club Council at every second meeting of the council after the appointment of the committee has taken place.
626.6.1.5 To receive the assistance of the ASUAF Front Desk Assistant in
obtaining information that the committee needs to fulfill their duties.
620.4.1 If the office of the Club Council Chair is vacated during the term of office, the
temporary successor shall be the Chair of the Rules Committee. If the Chair of the Rules Committee is unwilling or unable to be the temporary Chair of Club Council, then the Chair of the Finance Committee is the next temporary successor; If neither position is currently occupied or willing, than the senate and the president may nominate appointments for consideration by the senate of a temporary chair.
