Whereas, ASUAF would like to ease the financial burdens faced by the
student population;
Whereas, ASUAF previously passed SB 169-013A, purchasing 733.75 dollars
worth of textbooks;
Whereas, This bill designated specific textbooks be purchased for
specific courses;
Whereas, ASUAF could not confirm the titles required in time, and
subsequently did not purchase them;
Whereas, Some of the textbooks listed were not actually adopted; and
Whereas, Outdated textbooks would not help current students; now
therefore be it
Enacted, That SB 169-013A be partially rescinded to allow the Senate
Chair to purchase whichever textbooks they’d like; and be it further
Enacted, that the Senate Chair be charged to implement a loan system.
