Whereas, ASUAF has previously been a member of the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce (GFCC);
Whereas, Due to a lack of participation on the part of ASUAF in the past, GFCC membership dues were stricken from the ASUAF Budget in FY08 andFY09, thereby removing ASUAF as a member of the GFCC;
Whereas, The current ASUAF executives would like to work with the GFCC to help reinvigorate the ASUAF Student Saver Program and to work on creating a common, community-focused legislative agenda;
Whereas, The best way to complete these tasks would be to renew ASUAF’s membership in the GFCC; now, therefore be it
Enacted, That ASUAF allocate $175 from Senate Projects to renew membership with the GFCC.
